Who we are

Who We Are

The Doula Society is the vision of Brianna Nichols, a black queer disabled female veteran with over 15 years of childcare experience. With a strong background in newborn care, child development education, and a degree in Psychology, Brianna is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for new mothers. Currently pursuing a Master's in Mental Health Counseling, she aims to later offer mental health services at the birthing center as part of her broader mission to improve maternal care for all, especially those from marginalized communities.

What We Do

At The Doula Society, we provide personalized postpartum doula services to support new mothers during the critical postpartum period. Our offerings include overnight care, sleep training consultations, emotional support, and light household assistance. Brianna’s extensive experience and education in child development and psychology ensure that every service is delivered with a deep understanding of both the physical and emotional needs of mothers and their newborns.

Our Vision

Our ultimate goal is to establish a state-of-the-art birthing center that provides luxury care at low to no cost for those who need it most. This center will offer a holistic approach to maternal care, combining physical, emotional, and mental health support to create a safe and nurturing environment for all mothers and their families.
